Split

Split a long video clip into two clips for further editing.

To split a clip, do this:

1. Select the Split option.
2. Set the split time/slide (the frame or slide at the position at which you want to split the clip) by doing one of the following:
   • Enter a time in the entry boxes and click to seek to that time.
   • Drag the slider under the preview window to the desired position, then click to set that position as the split position.
3. Click to split the clip.

The split clip appears in the storyboard as two clips.
